1935 – 2013

GREENE — Leo Paul Girardin passed away suddenly at his home on Daggett Hill Road in Greene on Thursday, Feb. 21. He was 77 years old.

Leo was born in Canada, Oct. 23, 1935, the son of the late Leadore and Alberta Girardin.

He was a longtime employee of L & A Heel as a millwright. He enjoyed collecting coins and knives, as well as spending time with his family and his best friend, Judy Keene. He was married for 52 years to Gail (Lee) Girardin, who passed away in 2007.

He is survived by his children, James Girardin of Lewiston, Leo Girardin Jr. and wife, Chong, of California City, Calif., Joanne Girardin of Auburn, Christine Girardin and her partner, Jamie, of Lewiston, Norma Girardin and her partner, Lucille Gagnon, of Lewiston; and his best friend, Judy Keene, of Auburn. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Cassandra and McKayla, of Lewiston, and Ashley and Nate of California.
