CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The wedding of Bre-ann Bobbi Loon and Michael David Nemi was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Sugarloaf King Pine Chapel. The Rev. Paul Plante officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Nemi is the daughter of Robert and Melinda Loon of Jay. Mr. Nemi is the son of Richard and Noreen Nemi of Jay.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless organza ball gown with sweetheart neckline and corseted bodice embellished with embroidery and Swarovski crystals. The skirt had soft detail accented with feathers and flowers. She carried a bouquet of red roses with diamond studs in the center of each rose and diamond studded handle. Her long veil was attached to a crystal tiara.

Brittany Loon and Daydra Loon, sisters of the bride, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Nemi, sister-in-law, Addison Gagnon, cousin of the bride, and Stephanie Nemi, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.

Serving as best man for his brother was Ryan Nemi. Ushers were David Nemi and Brad Morin, cousins of the bridegroom, and Mike DeSanctis, friend of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Kingpine Reception Hall at Sugarloaf, after which the couple went on a Caribbean cruise. They are residing in Turner.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and a master’s degree from Bellview University. She is employed at Verso Paper in Jay.

The bridegroom received an associate degree from Southern Maine Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Daniel Webster College. He is employed at Franklin Printing in Farmington.
