Fiddlehead Center auditions for Sandy, the lovable mutt in ‘Annie Jr.’

GRAY — Leapin’ lizards! When the Fiddlehead Players chose “Annie Jr.” they knew that the production has touched the hearts of many through the years and is one of the world’s best-loved musicals.

Auditions for Sandy will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at Fiddlehead Center. Sandy must be comfortable with children and adults, and not the nervous type. No tricks are needed. Sandy will be in one scene. A total of six shows will be performed. The cast features 70-plus children ages 5 to 16.

The performances will take place on March 16, 17, 23 and  24 at Gray-New Gloucester High School. Tickets are available at www.fiddleheadcenter.org. For more information, call 207-657-2244.
