EUSTIS — Twenty-eight residents attending Saturday’s annual town meeting approved a 28-article warrant as written, Selectman Jane Wilkinson said early Saturday evening.

There wasn’t even any discussion.

“It took 49 minutes and everything passed,” Wilkinson said. “We were trying to go for a record, which I think is 42 minutes.”

Wilkinson said she didn’t have the information with her which listed the amount the voters approved to be raised through taxation and the municipal budget.

Peter Farnsworth was elected moderator.

In municipal elections for three-year terms, Selectman John Caldwell, SAD 58 Director Sarah Strunk and Planning Board member Debra Bushman all won re-election.

For the three other openings on the Planning Board, for which no one took out papers, write-in candidates were elected, Wilkinson said. They are Barry Crafts, Sherie Packard and Randall Scribner.
