Pine Cone Chapter meeting

AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter No. 26 Order of the Eastern Star will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.  This will be the annual meeting. Members will be electing new officers.

Homemade pizza will be served starting at 6 p.m. before the meeting. All Pine Cone members are welcome to join.

CWA Night at Danville Grange

AUBURN — CWA Night will be observed at Danville Junction Grange 65 when members and guests meet on Thursday, March 14, for a 6 p.m. supper. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with guest officers filling the chairs.

A St. Patrick’s Day program will be presented by the CWA committee. All grange members and guests are invited to attend.

Sons of Legion to hold supper

SABATTUS — The Sons of American Legion Post 135 in Sabattus will hold a potluck supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The charge is $6 per person, children 10 and under $3. All are welcome to attend.

Senior Citizens Cribbage League

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on March 7 were: first, Lorraine Fillion and Jeanne Collette; second, Norm Bissonnette and Don Haley; third, Bob Leclair and Mike Martin; fourth, Gary David and Dick Dennis; fifth, Arline Laplante and Sonny Beaudoin.

Screening for kindergarten

HEBRON — Registration and screening for next year’s kindergarten class at Hebron Station School will be held on Thursday, May 2. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 are eligible to attend kindergarten.

Parents are encouraged to contact the Hebron Station School office immediately to set an appointment. Appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Be prepared to give your child’s name, birthdate, home address and phone number.

On May 2, parents must present a copy of the child’s official birth certificate, a copy of the immunization record and a copy of the child’s most recent physical exam.
