WILTON — On Friday, April 5, at 6 p.m. the Wilson Grange will host another of their well-received Passport Dinner Tours. This month’s destination will be the Republic of Yemen.

The young guest is an exchange student of the Youth Exchange and Study, a program of the U.S. State Department. Omar will appear in his native garb representing one of Yemen’s tribes. Yemen is below Saudi Arabia.

The Wilson Grange is offering an opportunity to personally hear what it is like to grow up in Yemen told through the eyes of a young man with a deep love of his culture and his country. The evening will begin by listening to ethnic music while dining on traditional Yemen cuisine, which will include some of Omar’s favorite recipes. Directly following the dinner will be a slide presentation of his homeland.

Dinner is $12 per person and is by reservation only. Seats will go quickly; call or email today, 645-2400 or chriskraussme@gmail.com.
