NEW GLOUCESTER — Darrell M. Flanders, 66, born Oct. 2, 1946, of New Gloucester, passed away on March 15, after a short illness in New Gloucester.
Mr. Flanders served in Vietnam as an Army Combat Engineer in the 4th Infantry Division 1966 to 1967. He worked as a steel forger at Crosby Group, Portland.
He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Flanders; granddaughter, Charlene Flanders of Ayer, Mass.; his son, James Flanders of New Gloucester; he also leaves behind siblings, Sylvia Turner-Lussier of The Villages, Fla., Joyce Cook and Ken Flanders of Portland, Brian Flanders of Gorham and Marvin Flanders of Standish. Graveside services will be in the spring.
