RUMFORD — The Rumford Polar Bears Snowmobile Club will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Sam’s Restaurant, Route 2.

Election of officers for the board of directors will take place. Nominations will be accepted from the floor.

Any club member wishing to run for office is welcome to do so. Positions are president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, trail master(s) and two at-large board members.

A reminder to members is that a benefit of membership is a $250 scholarship to a graduating senior who is planning to attend college or vocational school. To qualify, an applicant must be a member of the club.

The scholarship winner will be chosen in May by a random drawing. The scholarship will be awarded upon successful completion of the first semester of school.
