AUGUSTA — A story published on Page A1 Tuesday should have said Jeff Austin, a spokesman for the Maine Hospital Association, told the Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee that hospitals can not sign patients up for insurance policies on the spot, the way they can for Medicaid when a patient is eligible.
