RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Leo Collette was celebrated Saturday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” “You Are Mine” and Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by David Thorne. The New Testament was proclaimed by Tim Barrieau. Prayer of the faithful was offered by David Thorne. Offertory gifts were presented by Ethan Thorne, Cam Barrieau, Nicholas Thorne, Brett Barrieau and Haley Thorne. Personal reflections were shared by Lisa Barrieau, Peggy Briggette and Cindy Thorne. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Military Honors were offered by the American Legion. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
