Auburn accident closes Washington Street

Traffic was backed up on Washington Street Northbound on Wednesday morning for about 45 minutes after an accident in front of Greely’s garage.

Auburn firefighters work to secure the contents, including acetylene tanks, in the back of a trailer that collided with a J.B. Hunt Transport Services tractor-trailer on Washington Street North on Wednesday. No one was seriously injured, but the northbound lane was closed for about 45 minutes.
