LEWISTON — City Council workshop and regular meeting in Lewiston City Hall. The workshop begins at 6 p.m. and the scheduled topic is review of a complete streets policy that promotes pedestrian and bicycle safe roads, followed by an executive session to discuss real estate.

The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. and topics include changes to city field use polices and a resolution on giving a local group up to six months to consider uses for Bates Mill Building No. 5.

AUBURN — School Committee budget workshop, 5:30 p.m. Auburn Hall, Council Chambers, committee to receive revenue numbers, including recommended property tax increase. Superintendent Katy Grondin is recommending a budget that’s 4.8 percent higher.

AUBURN — School Committee regular meeting, 7 p.m., Auburn Hall. On agenda, recommendation from New High School Steering Committee to build a high school at the existing Edward Little High School site.

LEWISTON — School Committee budget workshop, 6 p.m., Dingley Building, to finalize budget cuts to lower property tax increases. The superintendent’s earlier budget called for spending that would hike property taxes 8.4 percent. Committee scheduled to vote on budget April 8 and send it to the City Council April 25; public referendum is May 21.

Thursday

LEWISTON City Council budget workshop, 6 p.m. in City Hall. Scheduled topics include budgets for Parking, General Government property, Public and Utility funds.

AUBURN — New High School Steering Committee meeting, 6 to 8 p.m., Auburn Hall, Council Chambers.
