1956 – 2013

SABATTUS — James L. Therrien Sr., 57, of Sabattus, died Thursday, April 4, at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Lewiston April 1, 1956, a son of the late Gayton and Laurette (Pomerleau) Therrien, he was educated in Lewiston schools.

Jim worked for his father’s business for 20 years before becoming disabled.

He married Darlene Paine on Oct. 21, 1978.

Jim enjoyed the outdoors and liked camping. He also loved going for rides on his four-wheeler.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Paine Therrien; his three children, Brenda Therrien, James Therrien Jr., and Laura and husband, Jody Moczara; three brothers, Robert Therrien and wife, Marion, of Leeds, Marc Therrien and wife, Lisa, of Winthrop, and Scott Therrien and partner, Rose, of Sabattus; best friend, Joline Dubois, a brother-in-law, Michael Paine; a sister-in-law, Brenda Fortin and husband, Donald; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the proud pepere of three wonderful grandchildren, Emma, Isaiah and Serenity.
