1950 – 2013

AUBURN — Robert “Bobby” Thibodeau, 62, of South Paris, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, April 1, at the Hospice House after an endless battle with cancer.

He was born Oct. 6, 1950, in Fort Fairfield to Fred and Helen Thibodeau.

Country music was Bobby’s passion. Not only did he enjoy listening to country, but he loved to play his guitar and sing at home and on stage. He was a loyal member of DECMA and NACMA. He received Duo of the Year award with brother, Donald in 2003 and 2004. Also in 2004, Bobby won National Rising Star Award in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. He enjoyed spending time at the Silver Spur and loved camping, fishing and traveling.

Survivors are his children, Robert Tracy of Old Orchard, Nicole Tracy of Sanford, Angela Gaudet of Mechanic Falls, and Felicia Gaudet of Gorham; grandchildren, Ryan, Lexus, Logan, Donald, Brianna, Cayman, Brexton, Sebastian, Isaac, Abi and Lauren; siblings, Gloria Brooke and husband, Larry, of Florida, Fred Thibodeau of Old Orchard, and Ray Thibodeau and Kathy of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by both parents; and his brothers, John Tinsman and Donald Thibodeau.
