LEWISTON — Community Credit Union, with branches at 144 Pine St., Lewiston, and 40 Stanley St., Auburn, announces the hiring of Sarah Baker as the marketing assistant.

Baker has a bachelor of arts degree in communication from the University of Southern Maine and has nearly seven years of retail customer service and sales experience. Previously, Baker interned at the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA and Safe Passage/Camino Seguro.

Baker is a member of the National Communication Association and the 2012 recipient of the Outstanding Communication Scholar Award from USM. She enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with family and friends.

She resides in Freeport with family, and also spends time in the Sunday River area where she grew up.
