Jonathan Shumeyko
AUBURN — Paul and Gay Metevier of North Yarmouth and Daniel and Mary Shumeyko of Pompton Plains, N.J., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Lauren Metevier and Jonathan Shumeyko, both of Westbrook.
Miss Metevier is a graduate of Cheverus High School in 2005, College of the Holy Cross in 2009 with a degree in psychology and a minor in pre-med, and is also a graduate student in the nurse practitioner program at the University of Southern Maine. She is employed at Crossfit Casco Bay. Her mother is the former Gay Peterson of Auburn.
Mr. Shumeyko graduated from Pequannock Township High School in 1998, Boston College in 2001 with a degree in psychology, and the University of Southern Maine in 2010 with a master’s degree in clinical counseling. He is an LCPC and is currently the clinical coordinator at a residential dual-diagnosis treatment program in Portland.
The wedding is planned for New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, at First Parish Church in Portland.
