LEWISTON — Therese R. Roux, 86, of Lewiston, died peacefully at home on Friday, April 12, after a period of failing health. She was surrounded by her family and closest friend and caregiver, Lucienne Fournier.

 

Terry was born in Lewiston, a daughter of the late Jean Baptist and Imelda Paradis Roux. She attended local schools and worked for many years in the local shoe industry. She traveled extensively and enjoyed her many cruises with her friend, Lucienne.

 

She also enjoyed socializing at the Pastime Club, Acme and 20 M Club.

 

Surviviors include two sisters,Yvette Kirouac of Newington, Conn., Lucille Snow and husband, William, of Lewiston; three nieces; four nephews; many cousins; and her special friend, Lucienne Fournier.

 

She was also predeceased by  her brother, Roger Roux and his wife, Yvette Langlais Roux.
