AUBURN — Rob Klinedinst, principal and architect at Auburn-based Harriman Architects and Engineers, will present at the Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference in Bethesda, Md., this month.

Along with Scott G. Beatty, dean of administration at Southern Maine Community College, Klinedinst will present on a uniquely designed sea water heat exchange system in Casco Bay as an example of innovative technology recently implemented during the renovation of the Lighthouse Building at Southern Maine Community College.

Klinedinst has more than 22 years of experience as a designer and planner of educational environments. As principal at Harriman, he leads the Higher Education Design Studio.
