Congratulations to Evan Breton and Richard Clark from Montello Elementary School for the bravery and perseverance that they showed in going on with their Odyssey of the Mind skit without the rest of their teammates (story, Sun Journal, April 11). We should all be proud of these two students for their dedication to that wonderful program.

As a parent of a former Odyssey of the Mind student, years ago, I am so proud of those two boys. I truly hope that they will continue with this program and keep growing, as someday they will make it to the world competition as our son did. It was such a great experience.

What an accomplishment to have received the “OMER’s” Award, which was so well deserved. I hope they keep up the good work and dedication.

And congratulations to AMS students in winning first place and being eligible to attend the world competition in Michigan.
