Androscoggin will present an element of surprise, an element of beauty, an element of time, and an element of dance for the entire family

LEWISTON — Androscoggin Dance’s Kristen Gavin, Amelia Pullen and Elizabeth Hansen will present new contemporary dances at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Franco American Heritage Center. Pullen has set her pieces to Evard Grieg and Yelle. Her pieces are descriptive of the basic emotions and self reflection as well as a quirky look at the element of time.

Gavin has been formulating and creating the body of work entitled “Elemental” this past year. The contemporary movement mimics the forces of nature, providing a most unusual and beautiful nature walk.

Proceeds from the show will be used for scholarships for the dancers enrolled in the Androscoggin Dance Intensive Program.

Tickets are $15 for adults/$8 for children 12 and under, and $12 for students and seniors 65 and older. They can be purchased at www.androscoggindance.org or by calling 207-784-3246.
