The list of candidates for offices in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls is growing, but no one has yet returned nomination papers for three of four seats on the RSU 73 board.
Papers are due in the three town offices by the close of business hours May 2. Elections will be held in each town June 11.
In Jay, there are a pair of three-year terms open. No one has taken out papers for these positions now held by Danny DiPompo and Tammy Dwinal-Shufelt, Deputy Tax Collector Lori Shink said Tuesday.
No one has returned papers for a three-year selectman’s position currently held by Justin Merrill, she said.
Stephan Franchette has returned papers for a trustee position at the North Jay Water District. No papers have been returned for the trustee position on the Jay Village Water District.
In Livermore, no one has taken out papers for a three-year term on the school board, Town Clerk Renda Libby said. That position is currently held by Diane Castonguay Gould.
Mark Chretien has returned papers for a three-year term for selectperson, a position currently held by Tom Berry. No one has returned papers for a two-year selectperson position currently held by Wayne Timberlake, Libby said.
In Livermore Falls, school board member Tammy Frost has returned papers for a three-year term, Town Clerk Sue Sapiel said.
James Collins returned papers for the three-year term on the Board of Selectmen. No one has returned papers for a two-year position for selectman. Jeffrey Bryant is the current selectman.
Kenny Jacques has returned papers for a one-year position. Kenneth Pelletier currently holds the position but is resigning in June.
