In 2012, the race field of 147 included teams from four schools; Andover and Dirigo Elementary, Holy Savior School and Mountain Valley Middle School. The 2013 race has added Rumford Elementary to the lineup. Thank you to all teachers and volunteers involved in bringing these teams together.

Also new this year is a very long list of sponsors, many of them being new to the event. Bangor Savings Bank locations in both Rumford and Dixfield are huge supporters of the Maine Harvest for Hunger program and have signed on as the top sponsor. The Maine Press, The Fitch Company, Franklin Savings Bank and the Little Red Hen are also new to the event. The list of returning sponsors that have been with the HH5K since its inaugural year includes Irving Forest Products, Chisholm Ski Club, Pizza Hut, BC Consultants, Dignity Memorial, Med-Care, Davis Florist and Road ID. There are a few different ways that you can register for this event.

• Registration forms can be picked up at the RVHCC office located at 94 River Street

• Registration forms can be downloaded from the RVHCC website at www.rvhcc.org and either dropped off or mailed to the office.

• There is also a link to an online registration at www.rvhhc.org, that link will take you to www.active.com

Pre-race registration is $20 and race day registrations are $25. The first 75 registered will receive an official HH5K race shirt.
