Light welterweight Lindsay Kyajohnian, who trains at the Portland Boxing Club, won a unanimous decision over Kimberly Wabik of Somerville, Mass. Lightweight Chi Wong (with a record of 5 – 0) won a split decision over Henry Ung of Cambridge at the F – 1 Boston Event Center in Braintree, Mass. Kyajohnian was also named the Outstanding Boxer of the Evening. Kyajohnian recently won the 2013 New England Golden Gloves championship in Lowell, Mass. Prior to this win, Kyajohnian took the title of regional Golden Glove champion in Burlington, Vt., as well as the 2013 New England Championship in Portland, Maine. Kyajohnian is the daughter of Michael and Christie Kyajohnian of Turner.
