BETHEL — Jessie Dirago added another accolade to her already impressive resume Friday, tossing a no-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts in Telstar’s 12-0 win over St. Dom’s in MVC softball action.

Dirago struck out 15 of the 17 hitters she faced, and walked the other two, not allowing a single ball to be put in play over five innings. The no-hitter is her third of the season for the Rebels (7-1).

She also helped lead the way at the plate, smacking a three-run triple. Autumn Berry added three singles and three RBI for Telstar, while Taylor Savage collected two hits.

Sam Ladd took the loss for the Saints (1-8), her third against one win on the season.

Cape Elizabeth 9, Fryeburg 6

FRYEBURG — Mary Perkins doubled and scored two runs as Cape Elizabeth sailed past previously undefeated Fryeburg 9-6 in WMC softball action Friday.

The Raiders (10-1) built a 3-0 lead after two innings on an RBI double by Kylie Locke in the first inning and a base hit by Emily Davidson in the second.

But the Capers (9-0) tied the game in the third on an RBI single by Ashley Tinsman and a two-run double from Emma O’Rourke.

Fryeburg regained the lead, lost the lead and picked up a final run, all by the fifth inning. But Cape Elizabeth added an insurance run on Perkins’ double and an infield out en route to the win.

Hall-Dale 6, Mt. Abram 3

SALEM — Olivia Maynard did not hold back as she scattered four hits to go along with four strikeouts as Hall-Dale topped Mt. Abram, 6-3, in MVC softball action.

Hall-Dale’s flawless defense didn’t give up an error and allowed only four hits. The Roadrunners (3-6) took the lead after four innings but quickly lost it as the Bulldogs (5-4) nailed three runs on the scoreboard in the fifth.

Taylor Jordan gave up six hits and struck out five for the Roadrunners who were in need of a spark. Jordan tried to help her own cause with an RBI double.

Oceanside 9, Leavitt 0

TURNER — Rachel Frye had control on the mound, throwing seven shutout innings and only giving up two hits, as Oceanside overwhelmed Leavitt, 9-0.

Frye had 10 Ks on the night while getting solid support from Brooke Dugan and Kennadi Grover, who sliced two hits each. The Mariners (9-0) rallied with four runs in the fourth inning to seal the game and cruise to a victory.

Michelle Morin had the loss on the mound for the Hornets (1-8)

Mt. Blue 6, Erskine 5

SOUTH CHINA — Destiny Nelson finished off a late rally by smoking a single that scored two runners in the seventh inning as Mt. Blue rallied from behind to sneak past Erskine, 6-5.

Kiana Thompson scattered three hits for the Cougars (1-9) while Caitlin Kane added two. Hailey Farrington threw seven innings of seven hit softball while giving up five earned runs.

Phoebe Cram recorded the loss on the mound for the Eagles, while Alex Gauvin provided run support by dropping three hits in play.

Oxford Hills 9, Hampden 3

PARIS — Jordyn Sanbourn cranked a triple along with scattering two other hits as Oxford Hills took a solid lead and flew past Hampden, 9-3.

Rilee Walker threw seven innings of three-run softball with support from great fielding. Angel Witham gunned down a runner at third base in the fourth inning to secure the victory and freeze the runners in scoring position. Anna Winslow and Abby Bernier each produced two hits for the Vikings (9-1). Abby Lord and Kayla Clewely smashed a pair of hits each to support Rilee Walker, who recorded the loss on the mound for the Broncos (3-6).

Mountain Valley 14, Boothbay 0

BOOTHBAY — Shannon Laubuskas hammered out a three-run homer in the third inning and Katie Mills hit a two-run double as Mountain Valley landed on Boothbay with a 14-0 victory in a five-inning softball game Friday.

After three innings, the Falcons (5-3) built a 10-0 lead with the help of Boothbay’s 14 errors. Winning pitcher Lindsay Marston threw a one-hitter and teammate Aly Carlton had two hits.

Bangor 9, Lewiston 5

BANGOR — The Bangor squad scored four runs in each of the first and fifth innings en route to a 9-5 victory over Lewiston in KVAC softball action Friday.

The lead-off batter, Sydni Cosgrove, had one hit, two runs and a stolen base for the Rams (6-4). Morgan Campbell provided a triple and an RBI.

Erica Brochu went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI for the Blue Devils (1-9).

But Lewiston failed to rally for runs as Bangor had.
