Accidents

Lewiston

* A car driven by Staci L. Johnson, 42, of Auburn struck the back of an SUV driven by Carol A. Withers, 50, of Mechanic Falls while Withers was slowing for an animal in the roadway at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday on Lincoln Street.

* Vehicles driven by Kenneth R. Keene, 43, of Hartford, and Melanie Sparks-Ide, 48, of Lewiston, collided at 7:28 a.m. Wednesday at Main and Holland streets. Both vehicles, Keene’s 2005 Ford pickup and Sparks-Ide’s 2010 Chevrolet, were towed.
