LEWISTON — Paul Olehowski, 87, died unexpectedly at his home in Lewiston, Monday, May 13.

He was born May 12, 1926, in Lewiston, the son of John and Pauline Olehowski.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe. He married the former Anita Arel, Nov. 6, 1958.

He retired from local textile mills, he liked gardening and was an avid Red Sox fan. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; a daughter, Sandra Potvin, husband, Mike; grandchildren, Danielle Potvin and Brandon Potvin; a stepson, Jim Palmer, wife, Sylvia; grandson, Eric Palmer, wife Amanda; great-grandson, Cameron Palmer; a brother, Thomas Olehowski of Lewiston; and a sister, Nellie McNally of Charlotte, N.C.

He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters; and eight brothers.

Funeral arrangements will be made at a later date. He will be missed by all.
