DEAR SUN SPOTS: Thanks for all the information you share with us each day. I am hoping you can help me. I would like to get some reasonably priced voice lessons for my granddaughter. She lives in the Jay-Wilton area. Thanks for any information you can provide. — Sue via email

ANSWER: Sun Spots does not have any providers of those lessons in her Rolodex. Perhaps readers will be able to help.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: In a recent column many of the local barbershop music groups were mentioned. There is one more that did not appear. The Mollyockett Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines, International, practices in Oxford (at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints on Skeetfield Road) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

The chorus will be performing its summer show at the Sawyer Foundation in Greene on July 12, the Denmark Arts Center on July 13 and (probably) at the Danville Grange on July 20.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: A suggestion to the reader who has a disabled son (May 15) would be to get a Roku, we got ours for $59. It opens the door to Netflix with tons and tons of movies for only $7.99 a month; the first month is free. You can also get Crackle that has no monthly fees but less choices than Netflix.

We got ours for Christmas and so enjoy the variety of movies. After the free month we were hooked — documentaries, sitcoms old and new movies on every possible topic. It is the best deal around. Hope this helps. — No Name, Lewiston

ANSWER: Sun Spots is a huge admirer of Netflix. But you do need an Internet connection to receive it, and Sun Spots wasn’t sure if that was an option in this case.
