MECHANIC FALLS — Joan M. Pike, 76, of Mechanic Falls, passed away on Sunday, May 19, at her home with her family.

She was born in Boston, Mass., on Sept. 9, 1936, the daughter of James and Mildred Shepard Robinson.

She graduated from Randolph High School and Boston University. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Saunders Florist in Lewiston for 29 years. She also worked at Cumberland Farms in Mechanic Falls. She was a member of Colfax Rebekah Lodge No. 27 in Mechanic Falls, where she held many offices over the years. She enjoyed puzzles, scrabble, growing plants and flowers. She also enjoyed watching TV and watching sports. She loved her dogs and was a regular at Kathy’s restaurant.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Allan Pike, of Denver, Colo., and John S. Pike Jr. of Lewiston; her daughter, Jodi Ann Pike of Berwick; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, James Robinson of Shallotte, N.C.; and a sister, Jean Robinson of Sharon, Mass.
