LEWISTON — Alberte (Philippon) Turner, 93, of O’Connell Street, Lewiston, died Friday, May 24, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Lewiston, April 17, 1920, the daughter of Albert and Marie-Ange (Cloutier) Philippon. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of 1939.

She was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Church and also a member of the Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Bigelow of Sabattus; her grandchildren, Jennifer Laliberty and husband, Rick, of Sabattus, Ryan Bigelow and wife, Jessica, of Lewiston, Eric Bigelow and wife, Kendra, of Leeds and Christina Holmes of California; her great-grandchildren, Haylee Bigelow of Lewiston, Caleb Laliberty of Sabattus, Johnnie, Elijah and Daniel Bigelow, all of Lewiston and Nicholas and Julian Holmes of California; her sister, Marthe Moberg of Vermont; and her brother, Emilio Philippon of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Turner in 1999; her son, Thomas Turner in 2010; and two brothers, Ange and Arthur Philippon.
