Dance students to give performance

RUMFORD — Expressive Movement, Debbie’s Dance Studio, will present a rendition of the movie, “Sister Act II,” at 6 p.m. Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1, at the Mountain Valley High School Auditorium.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

The performance will open with a medley of tunes sung by a group from Nina’s Real Notes under the direction of Thea Dunn.

Animal advocated to hold plant/bake sale

MEXICO — River Valley Animal Advocates will hold the fourth annual plant/bake sale and raffle from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, at Riverside Realty. Rain dates will be June 8 and 9.

Raffle items will be drawn Sunday at closing. Donation of items are welcome and pick-up is available. Proceeds will benefit the spay/neuter projects.
