Coalition networking meeting

RUMFORD — A Community Networking Meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, is scheduled for noon Thursday, May 31, (bring a lunch) in the Rumford Public Library community room located downstairs.

Gabe Perkins of Bethel, a recent UMF graduate, will speak about the Local Food Connection, Boondocks Buying Club and a survey on food security in the area.

Agenda items include community updates from the Healthy Communities as well as from other River Valley organizations.

Story time takes a break

DIXFIELD — The Pre-School Story Time Hour at Ludden Memorial Library has stopped meeting for the summer. The event will start back up Monday, Sept. 9. Hours will be 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
