LEWISTON — Dale G. Cook Sr.. 82, of Sabattus, died Tuesday, June 4, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion.

He was born in Webster (Sabattus), July 2, 1930. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Edward and Minnie Cook. He married Rita (Gauthier) on Sept. 1, 1951 and she predeceased him in 2008. Dale worked for many years at Webster Rubber.

He leaves six children, Gloria Goulet and husband, Bert, of Sabattus, Dale Cook Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Litchfield, Daniel Cook and wife, Tina, of Wales, Jeannine Jones and husband, Harold, of Monmouth, Daniel Gauthier and wife, Becky, of Alabama, and Raymond Gauthier and wife, Hae Seon, of Alabama; a brother, David Fournier of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, George Cook; and three sisters, Hazel Scott, Bernice Ellie and Thoris Sinclair.
