FREEPORT — Brothers Matt and Jason Tardy, co-founders of the Freeport Theater of Awesome, will present their comedy and juggling show The Tardy Brothers almost every Sunday afternoon throughout the summer beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23 and 30.
“It’s funny that a couple of jugglers opened a theater with eight-and-a-half-foot ceilings,” said Jason, 34. “It’s going to be high-energy juggling … low ceiling.”
“It’s going to be a challenge, but it really shouldn’t be a problem since we have performed in spaces with seven-foot-high ceilings and I could put my hand flat on the ceiling,” added Matt, 32. “It just means the show will be more fun for the audience than it will be for us!”
The Tardy Brothers show features relentless sarcastic wit, high-energy juggling, physical comedy, and daring stunts.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. The Freeport Theater of Awesome is at 5 Depot Street. Tickets can be purchased at www.AwesomeTheater.com. For more information, call 207-518-8839.
