KINGFIELD — A Weld man was injured Friday night after the vehicle he was driving rolled over on Route 142 and partially pinned him under it, according to Franklin County Lt. David Rackliffe.
Deputies, firefighters and bystanders were able to lift the truck to free Dakota Boyd, 19, Rackliffe said.
Boyd was taken by ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington and later transferred to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Rackliffe said.
“Speed and alcohol” are believed to be factors in the single-vehicle accident, Rackliffe said.
“Charges are pending,” he said Monday.
Rackliffe and Deputies Chris Chase, Sandy Burke and Colt Sleaster and Kingfield firefighters responded to the 8:10 p.m. accident.
