AUBURN —   A funeral Mass June 5 honoring the life of Richard R. Sampson was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. Robert Lariviere. The first and second readings, as well as the Prayer of the Faithful, were given by granddaughters, Kimberly and Jenna Sampson. The offertory was brought to the altar by Ernie and Patty Gagne. Music was sung by Shelley Harris. A Eulogy was given by a brother-in-law, Mike Luciano. Bearers were nephews, Steve Timberlake, Ernie Gagne and Billy Gagne and grandsons, Corey Sampson, Jeremy Sampson and Jarod Sampson. A committal with military honors was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Marco’s Restaurant.
