LIVERMORE — Treat Memorial Library will hold the formal dedication of the Doris Demillo Memorial Garden at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18. Friends, family and co-workers will be invited to speak of their memories of the longtime library aide and volunteer who was taken by cancer.

The garden is situated to the left of the front entrance and includes a granite bench. Much thought and time have gone into its planning. Refreshments will be served.

Registration for the annual Summer Reading Camp begins Tuesday, June 18, and runs through Saturday, June 22. Camping sessions will be held on Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. starting June 20.

Elsie’s Re-Read Used Book Emporium is available during library hours; best days Thursday and Friday. Paperbacks are just 25 cents, DVDs or VHS are 50 cents and the rest is whatever the purchaser wishes to donate. There are books for all ages and interests. New used items are added often.
