NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Meghan Murphy of Winthrop qualified for the spring 2013 dean’s list at Belmont University. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
Meghan is enrolled in the music business program. She is a 2011 graduate of St. Dominic Academy and is the daughter of Michael and Cathy Murphy.

WALTHAM, Mass. — Michael R. Cormier of Wilton was awarded a bachelor of science degree at Bentley university on May 18.
Michael majored in economics and finance plans to join UBS as a wealth planning analyst. He is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and the son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Cormier.

MANCHESTER, NH. — Tessa Theriault has been named to the dean’s list at Saint Anselm College for the 2012 fall semester and the 2013 spring semester. Tessa is a Presidential Scholar majoring in classical archaeology and is the incoming vice president of Saint Anselm’s Classics Society. She is a 2011 graduate of Poland Regional High School.

UNITY — On May 18, Jacob Hastings of Farmington graduated from Unity College with a Bachelor of Science degree in conservation law enforcement and a minor in wildlife conservation.
He was awarded the Conservation Law Enforcement Distinguished Academic Honors and an Honor Cord for graduating with a GPA of 3.77.

LEWISTON — Zachary D. Abbott of Rangeley was named to the dean’s list at Bates College as a result of his scholastic standing during the winter semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
Abbott, an environmental studies major, is a 2010 graduate of Rangeley Lake Regional School. Abbott is the son of Arthur E. Abbott of Auburn.
His undergraduate activities include a summer internship at Mount Desert Island Biology Laboratory. He is an avid golfer and a member of the college golf team.
