LEWISTON — Starting Wednesday, June 26, and continuing for two weeks, volunteers will knock on doors of downtown homes to conduct a NeighborhoodWorks survey, said Shanna Rogers of Community Concepts.

Working in teams of two and wearing “Lewiston Unites” shirts, volunteers will ask people who live downtown about their quality of life.

Resident engagement is a key part of any community’s success, Rogers said. The surveys will be a way for Community Concepts to learn what people want from their neighborhoods.

Community Concepts plans to make the data available to local organizations by September. The information can help with creating new programs and new funding and serving people better. Surveys are anonymous and take about 20 minutes to complete.

For more information, call Rogers at 739-6549 or by email: [email protected].
