RUMFORD — Graveside services for Richard Charles Schwind Sr. were conducted Saturday at the East Ellis Cemetery with his son, Richard C. Schwind Jr. officiating. Words of remembrance were given by his daughter, Margaret Lee Ward and his brother, Wilmont M. Schwind. The poems “Nothing Gold Can Stay,” written by Robert Frost, was read by his grandson, Matthew Schwind and “Seasonal Heiku” was read by granddaughter, Haylee Schwind. A reception followed at the Bethel Inn. Arrangements by Meader and Son Funeral Home.
