NEW VINEYARD — Lowell and Joyce Dubay Jr. of New Vineyard recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married in New Vineyard, where they have resided all their lives.

A barbecue was held with family, including four children and their spouses and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Dubay was an automobile parts clerk for many years and a self-employed mechanic. He was on the New Vineyard Board of Selectmen a number of years and volunteered at the town transfer station approximately 20 years.

Mrs. Dubay has been a housewife and a well-known artist most of her married life.
