“Trayvon Martin armed himself with the concrete sidewalk …” Or so says George Zimmerman’s defense attorney in justifying the shooting.

If that is true:

Will anyone walking down the street be automatically considered “armed and dangerous”? Or, more accurately, will simply walking down the street now be described as “open carry”?

What about concealed carry? Or to paraphrase Mae West; “Is that a sidewalk you’re packing or are you just happy to see me?”

Will a background check, as well as a building permit, be required for concrete work?

Lastly, remember that “sidewalks don’t kill people; people kill people.”
