Industry parade, fireworks

INDUSTRY — The Fourth of July activities in Industry will include the following.

The annual boat parade will start at dusk Friday, July 5. A group paddle will take place Saturday, July 6, starting at 7:30 a.m., for kayaks, canoes and other boats.

The annual fireworks will be held on July 6, with a rain date of July 7. Cost is $10 per vehicle.

The Annual Meeting of the Clearwater Lake Association will take place at noon Sunday, July 7. Bring a favorite food dish to share for the dinner. All interested people are invited to this meeting held at the Industry Town Hall.

Renovation Celebration

WILTON — The Wilton Historical Society will hold a public Renovation Celebration on Saturday, July 13, at the freshly painted and shingled Wilton Farm & Home Museum, 10 Canal St.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. with refreshments to follow. The museum will be open for tours.

RSVP by Wednesday, July 10.

Summer Camp in the Park at Strong

STRONG — Summer Camp in the Park for ages 4 to 12 will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 8 to 12, at the Lance Corporal Scott Paul Memorial Town Park.

Cost of $65 a child includes a camp T-shirt, breakfast, lunch, drinks and a barbecue on Friday. There will be sports, games, crafts, fishing, water fun and animal day. A trip to Waterville Water Park will be taken Thursday.

Wilton Academy classes invited to reunion

WILTON — All Wilton Academy attendees with their spouses and guests are invited to the Wilton Academy Reunion from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at LaFleur’s Restaurant in Jay.

There will be a special menu for the dinner served at 12:15 p.m. There will be a short program and opportunities to visit with school mates. For more information, call Thadie at 645-2427 or Gerold at 778-9417.

Tournament for Lupus Foundation

FARMINGTON — On July 12 and 13, the University of Maine-Farmington will host a charity one-on-one tournament to raise funds and awareness for the Lupus Foundation of America.

Entry fee will be $10 per person. July 12 will be for men and women ages 18 to 34, and July 13 will be for men and women 35 and up.

All proceeds go to the Lupus Foundation of America. Anyone interested in donating may do so at www.lupus.org.
