BRUNSWICK — One person is dead after a motorcycle crash on Bath Road on Saturday morning.
David Lamontagne, 45, of Monmouth died at the scene after the 2001 Honda CVR 929 motorcycle he was driving struck a 2003 Ford pickup truck driven by Roger Reid, 78, of Harpswell, according to Brunswick police Lt. Tom Garrepy.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:12 a.m. near Maine Mattress and Futon at Cooks Corner.
Lamontagne was not wearing a helmet, Garrepy said. Reid was uninjured.
Initial reports indicate Reid was making a right-hand turn into the parking lot of Maine Mattress and Futon when he was struck by the motorcycle, according to Garrepy.
Brunswick police continue to investigate the crash.
