PERKINS TOWNSHIP — A car driven by Deidre Cochran, 19, of Dixfield failed to negotiate the S-turns on Route 156 and crashed Monday morning.
The car left the road, hit a tree and rock and rolled over, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said. The 1991 Honda, which was heading west, landed on its roof partially in the road, he said.
Cochran declined medical treatment at the scene, Nichols said.
Deputy Nicholas Zecher was assisted by Cpl. Nate Reid.
