AUGUSTA — Mary L. Smith, 74, of the Pond Road, Sidney, died unexpectedly Monday, July 8, at Maine General Medical Center, with her family by her side.
She was born July 21, 1938, in Sidney, the daughter of Harvey N. and Evelyn A. (Tibbetts) Smith. She attended school in Sidney and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1956.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Henry N. Smith, who served and died in World War II and Curtis A. Smith Sr., all of Sidney.
