LIVERMORE — Ruth Elizabeth Harlow, 72, a resident of Livermore, went to be with the Lord from her home on Monday, July 8, after her struggles with a long illness.

She was born Aug. 5 1940, in Old Town, the daughter of Wendell Mosher and Eleanor Swett. She graduated in 1958 from Jay High School and continued her education at Auburn School of Commerce.

She married David E. Harlow on May 28, 1960. Ruth was a longtime member of the United Pentecostal Church in Livermore. She enjoyed playing the piano, making pizza, singing in church, walking the beach, tea parties, dancing in the Spirit and time with her family and friends.

She was a homemaker and later worked at T.D. Bank North retiring in 2007. Following her retirement, she worked part-time at Helping Hands in Lewiston.

Mrs. Harlow is survived by her husband, David of 43 years; her five children, Debbie and Jon Harnden, Jack and Barb Harlow, both of Lewiston, James and Trudy Harlow of Minot, Joanne and James Hadfield of Auburn and Vicky and Mike Emerson of Livermore; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-and four great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Henry Mosher of Gray; sisters, Athalie Southard of Killeen, Texas, Sara (Sally) Giesmann of Carleton, Mich., and Susan Toms of Norristown, Pa.; and several cousins. Ruth was predeceased by her parents; and her son, David Wells of Boulder, Colo.
