Auburn Firefighter’s Local 797 took part in the National Muscular Dystrophy Association campaign, “Fill the Boot,” on May 3. With the collection taking place at the intersection of Center, Turner and Union streets, members were able to collect more than $5,000 in donations, breaking their record. Funds will go to needed medical treatment, equipment and research.
