AUBURN — L/A Community Little Theatre has announced auditions for the comedy hit “Arsenic and Old Lace” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, and Tuesday, July 23.

The play follows the story of charming and innocent ladies who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously “acceptable” roomers. The antics of their brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt require no further description.

The auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. The script/excerpts will be available 30 minutes prior to the start of auditions. Please bring a schedule of all conflicts you may have throughout the rehearsal process. A copy of the rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions.

The play runs from Oct. 4-13 and will be directed by Adam P. Blais. The theater is at 30 Academy Street. For more character information, visit www.laclt.com.
