PALERMO — The members of Maine-ly Harmony women’s a cappella chorus will hold a super-size yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the former Hill Gardens on Route 3, between Tobey’s Store and Palermo School.
Unexpected treasures await the bargain-hunter, including plants from the Hill Gardens stock of perennials, books, jewelry, tools, kitchenware, home goods, toys, and more. Coffee and hot dogs on the grill will be available.
Maine-ly Harmony is comprised of women of all ages who hail from around the state and meet every Wednesday evening for rehearsals at the Togus VA in building 205, Room 112. The chorus and its quartets have performed in shows, at various functions and for elderly and church groups in the community for 20-plus years. All women and girls are invited to attend rehearsals, which begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call Donna at 582-5523 or Lea at 622-1273.
