LIVERMORE FALLS — Orientation for new adult education learners will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Spruce Mountain Adult Education Learning Center, 25 Cedar St.

All learners who want to earn a GED or Adult Education diploma must attend orientation prior to enrolling in classes; call 897-6384 to register.

The GED exam is changing in December. Any students who started taking GED tests must be completed before December or all tests will have to be retaken.

Central Maine Community College will offer classes at Spruce Mountain Adult Education: Introduction to Computers, Spruce Mountain Adult Learning Center starting on Thursday, Sept. 5, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.; U.S. History to 1877 will start on Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.; College Writing will start on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Spruce Mountain High School.

An informational meeting and open registration for CMCC will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 7. FMI: 897-6384
